DigiPlus Interactive Corporation, a player in the gaming and leisure sector in the Philippines, has launched a new Responsible Gaming tab across its platforms. This feature allows players to set daily gaming durations, customise gaming schedules, and establish daily loss limits. The company said that the initiative aims to ensure gaming remains enjoyable and manageable.
According to DigiPlus, players can limit their sessions to specific times, such as evenings or lunch breaks, ensuring that gaming does not interfere with work or personal commitments. Additionally, users can set a daily loss cap, like PHP1,000 (€16), to maintain financial discipline. These tools align DigiPlus with global responsible gaming practices, offering players an accessible and user-friendly way to prioritise their well-being.
“We believe gaming should remain safe and enjoyable, and by providing players with tools to manage their gaming habits, we are setting a new standard for responsible gaming in the region,” Eusebio Tanco, Chairman of DigiPlus, explained.
Beyond self-regulation tools, DigiPlus reinforces its commitment through the BingoPlus Foundation’s educational initiatives. The company said programmes such as the “Tamang Laro, Tamang Panalo” webinar series teach players about maintaining a healthy balance, managing mental health, and recognising when to seek help. Financial coaching is also available to promote responsible financial management, particularly for jackpot winners.
Tanco emphasised the company’s focus on education. “Beyond offering entertainment, we are deeply committed to delivering gaming experiences that are not only fun but also responsible,” he said.
In December 2024, DigiPlus partnered with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to strengthen its responsible gaming advocacy. The joint campaign includes digital and on-ground initiatives to educate players about the importance of moderation and discipline in gaming.
“Gaming is meant to entertain, but it must always come with safeguards to protect players. Together, we aim to elevate the industry by prioritising player welfare,” Alejandro Tengco, PAGCOR Chairman and CEO said.
The collaboration includes the “Pusta de Peligro” campaign, which expands on BingoPlus Foundation’s public awareness programmes through live events, community workshops, and additional content aimed at empowering players. “This campaign with PAGCOR is an important step in advancing our mission to empower players, promote financial literacy, and foster balanced gaming practices,” Tanco added.
DigiPlus is the operator of BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone in the Philippines. Earlier this month, the company secured a federal licence from Brazil, allowing it to operate its sports betting and other online games in the South American country.
