Yggdrasil signs exclusive distribution deal for North America

In a landmark exclusive deal with Aristocrat Interactive, its popular casino games will be distributed to licensed operators in the US and Ontario through the supplier’s Ignite platform. The platform will integrate Yggdrasil’s back catalogue as well as introduce its newest titles to the North American market, with recently launched ‘Valley of the Dead OnlyWins’ among those making a debut there.

Jose Simon Kadala, Chief Commercial Officer at Yggdrasil, said, “As far as names in the industry go, they don’t come much bigger or renowned than Aristocrat Interactive, and we are very excited to make this significant step together in North America. Aristocrat Interactive’s platform offers us everything we need to succeed in the region, and we have the utmost confidence that our profile will enhance considerably in this key market in the coming years.”

Aristocrat Interactive’s Director of Partnerships, Ashley Bloor, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Yggdrasil to Ignite and integrate its engaging and dynamic content into our portfolio, enhancing the variety and quality of content we offer our operators.”

It’s all go at Yggdrasil

Not only has Yggdrasil continued to work on its expansion in the North American market since it first entered the region in 2019, the iGaming provider has also recently secured a B2B licence from the Danish Gambling Authority. This will allow it to continue to work with locally licenced operators until 2029 after a change in legislation that took effect on Jan 1 this year.

In more news, Yggdrasil has freshly promoted Jose Simon Kadala to the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Serving as Commercial Director since 2023, Kadala’s knack for securing new partnerships with the likes of iGaming Platform, Bally’s Interactive and Panbet has earned him the C-level position where pushing boundaries, growth, and innovation will continue to be the focus.

Announcing his promotion, Yggdrasil Chief Executive James Curwen said, “I am delighted to name Jose as Yggdrasil’s CCO.
