Sacha Dragic (pictured above on right), who founded Superbet in 2008, returns to a prominent leadership role after stepping down as CEO in 2019. Superbet is undergoing a significant transformation at its executive level, signalling a strategic shift aimed at accelerating the company’s growth.
Dragic’s departure from the CEO position saw him take on a role as a board member, but his return marks a significant turning point for the company.
Jimmy Maymann (pictured above on left), who stepped into the CEO role in January, has been instrumental in steering Superbet since succeeding Johnny Hartnett. Hartnett’s five-year term as CEO was marked by notable progress, but the leadership change to Maymann and Dragic brings new dynamics to the table.
Dragic expressed enthusiasm about his return, emphasising his commitment to advancing Superbet’s growth trajectory. “At Superbet, we have always planned many horizons ahead with ambition, and I’m pleased to see the progress and speed with which the team have been growing and scaling the business to meet this ambition,” he stated.
Maymann is optimistic about the future, noting that Dragic’s return will have a transformative impact. He believes the new appointments will enhance the leadership team, enabling faster and more effective scaling of the business.
Maymann expressed, “It’s clear that Sacha will bring a game-changing impact in returning to the business to help us move faster to the next phase of our growth. The appointments of Sameen, Andrei and Albert further strengthen our leadership team, enabling us to scale further and quicker.”
